FPGA based IP core development has been the core activity for our VLSI design group. Our Embedded Hardware group focuses on board solutions with FPGAs, DSPs and ARM processors.

FPGA Based Design
UTS provide FPGA based design solutions in Industrial automation, DSP, Digital communication and Computer networking areas. In addition to these areas UTS can provide end solutions for any specific well defined problem. The team has expertise of application development on Xilinx and Altera FPGAs.
UTS can provide FPGA board solutions with Multilayer board with necessary peripherals on board. UTS uses well proven own IP cores for interfacing with these peripherals and delivers as firmware to the customer. Hence the customer need not worry about external interface design. The team has expertise working with SPI based ADCs, DACs, USB controllers, JTAG interface chips, UART controllers, VGA controllers, 10/100 PHY LAN controllers, DDRAM chips and several other interfaces.
Education & Training
UTS provides corporate training in different modules related to HDL coding, RTL design, FPGA synthesis, DSP on FPGA, reusable IP development and FPGA based embedded application development. The core design team members take part in training, which enables the participants to get exposed to real world challenges involved with different design aspects.
UTS also provides educational services to universities at graduation and post graduation level. Under the University programme UTS conducts seminars and workshops for free of cost, for the benefit of students and lecturers.
