Cypress PSOC development boards
Cypress PSoC (programmable system on chip) technology allows the user to configure the microcontroller hardware, in addition to the writing software on it. UTS offers low cost PSoC boards with manuals, by which one can learn about complete concepts PsoC microcontrollers programming. Browse this page for more details.
This basic evaluation kit allows a user to program PSoC devices via the freeware programmer programming unit. A UTS Basic PSoC Kit is also included in the kit. This also includes LEDs and variable resistor pot for simple evaluation and demonstration. The programmer utilizes a 5-pin ISSP(In System Serial Programming) header to program the PSoC devices present on the board or directly on the user target board thus avoiding the load of having an extra programmer. The programmer is small,compact and can be connected to the PC via a parallel port.
The NXP’s LPC2148 microcontroller is the best platform to learn about ARM7 programming. UTS offers low cost ARM7 boards with rich set of experiments. The experiments book lets give step by step guide lines for the usage of Keil compiler, ARM GNU C compiler, ARM GNU insight simulation tool and FlashUtility tool. The experiments cover the concepts of C and assembly mixed programming, which are essential for embedded system development.
